ALVA X MOETALLICA 2023
Alva has once again teamed up with legendary Lowrider artist Moetallica to create twelve one-of-a-kind hand-painted Alva full concave skateboards. Each Alva X Moetallica deck has a certificate of authenticity, edition number, Tony Alva polaroid, and Moetallica and Tony Alva signatures on the top of the deck.
For over twenty-five years, Moetallica has customized cars, motorcycles, and, more recently, skateboards. Each Alva X Moetallica hand-painted deck takes 3-4 weeks to complete. All graphics are hand-painted and not silkscreened.

ALVA X MEL KADEL
We are excited to announce our latest Alva Artist Series collaboration with artist Mel Kadel. Mel has created a new 'big fish' graphic for our classic Pescado Grande deck.
Los Angeles-based artist Mel Kadel has exhibited her work internationally for over twenty-five years in numerous group shows and solo exhibitions in the U.S. and Tokyo. Kadel is known for her signature patterns, meticulous linework, and female heroines. Her work has been featured in Los Angeles Times Magazine, The New Yorker, and a prestigious cover feature for the street-artist bible, Juxtapoz. Her clients include Vans, Adult Swim, C.C.S., The Quiet Life, Roxy, Rumpl, and Alva Skates.
